Hey babes! It’s time for an awesome lower ab workout that will target all of the core muscles at once! Yes! Ab fitness is important for stabilization and general strength to power you through your life. I love this all encompassing lower abs workout that is so much more! More bang for your buck! I love when I find an ab workout routine that let’s me conquer my whole core in one session of multi layered exercise. We want to be fit, but we’ve got other stuff to do too!

Here is Emmy to take us through this pretty intense ab workout. Don’t let her fool you. She makes it look pretty easy, but she is extremely fit. It’s a bit harder for me, and I am also fit, though not at the level of our resident 2nd degree black belt. She looks like a little flower, but she is a solid powerhouse of muscle and fitness. Strong Core

Building a strong core is absolutely essential when it comes to improving and maintaining your overall fitness level and athletic capabilities!! Not only is having a strong core critical to performing your sports, athletics, or your other weight lifting activities, but it is also crucial to having a healthy skeletal structure. Everything that you do start with your court. Your balance comes from a strong core, and you cannot perform your sports without proper balance. Whenever you are powerlifting, if you do not have a strong core, you might injure yourself, or be unable to perform at your top level, no matter how strong your other muscles are. Having a strong core will keep you from developing back injuries related to improper posture, as well as increasing your strength, power, and stamina in all of your athletic activities.

I will testify to strong abs helping keep lower back pain away. I have a tendency toward lower back pain because I was born with my last two vertebrae fused together. They make a pretty butterfly shape! As long as I exercise every day, and take care to keep my core strong, I am pain free.Recently I got a little lazy about my lower ab workout, though I kept up with all of my other fitness goals. I just didn’t feel like doing those ab exercises, and so I took a little break. Big mistake! My lower back rebelled and I went through a month of pretty intense pain. I started back on this routine, and within a week  I became pain free. I know that sounds too good to be true, but it is! Strong muscles just make everything better!
